Privacy Policy

The short version. RAYOFDOOM has no ads, no analytics and no
trackers. There are no accounts and no email sign-in. If you play online, the
name you choose is shown to other players and the levels you share are saved on
the game's own server so others can load them. Single-player is entirely
offline. Nothing is sold, shared or profiled.
What is collected
- An in-game player name, only if you play online. You type
it yourself; it is shown to other players in arenas and next to levels you
share. It is not tied to any real identity.
- Levels you choose to share. When you use "Share my level",
that level's data is uploaded to the game's server and given a short code so
other players can download it. Only levels you deliberately share leave your
device.
- Your presence during an online match: position and score
while a multiplayer session is running, so others in the same arena see you
move. It is not kept after the match.
- A random per-device token generated on your device to keep
a multiplayer session together. It is not an advertising identifier and is not
tied to your identity.
What is not collected
- No email address, no account, no password, no sign-in of any kind.
- No advertising identifiers, no analytics, no trackers, no fingerprinting.
- No location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
- No payment of any kind: the game has no purchases.
Where it lives
Your settings, saved games and best times stay in the app's local storage on
your device. The player name and shared levels you send while playing online are
stored on the game's own server, over HTTPS. Nothing is handed to any other third
party.
Deleting your data
Play single-player and skip online multiplayer and "Share my level" and nothing
is collected at all. To have a shared level or a name removed from the server,
write to the contact address below with the level code or name. Clearing the app's
storage, or uninstalling, removes everything kept on your device.
Children
RAYOFDOOM shows stylised, cartoon first-person combat against fantasy creatures,
and is intended for players aged 13 and over. Because player names and shared
levels are user-generated and not pre-moderated, it is not directed at children
under 13.
